The Youth Without Borders(YWB) Ghana in collaboration with the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG) and President Barack Obama’s Young African leaders Initiative (YALI), Regional Leadership Center (RLC), West Africa , Accra presents its maiden Public Lecture on theme : TOMORROW’S GHANA.
This high level event falls part of the trio’s commitment of educating the public to ensure peace before, during and after the December 7 general Election of Ghana. The program also seeks to draw the public attention to the growing existence of corruption in our country and Africa. The program is design to expose us to the negative effects of corrupt practices and how to tackle the canker using multifaceted approach.
As part of providing solutions to corruption which seems to be one of the biggest leadership challenge in Africa, Seasoned and Respected personalities have been invited to speak at the event. The program draws speakers from Civil Society Organisation, Entrepreneurs and Public Sector Institutions. The fight against corruption is a complicated task that must be undertaken by all. Speakers are expected to elaborate on how the variuos categories of people working in Civil Society Organisations, Public Organisations and Private organisations can help curb corruption.
Taking lessons from neighbouring countries such as Liberia, Somalia, Sudan , Lybia , Burundi and many other nations that have heavily suffered civil war, It is appropriate at this crucial moment to draw the public attention to the ramification of breaking the existing peace in Ghana.
Speakers would therefore make a presentation under the speech title”WHY GHANA CANNOT AFFORD CIVIL UNREST AND CORRUPTION”
