We live in a world where the greater percentage of the population belong to the youth bracket, thus according to the African Union (15-35) yet this same percentage are the biggest victims when it comes to anything negative. We at Youth Without Borders Ghana have consciously decided to challenge the systems that hinder the rapid development of the Youth in Ghana, Africa and the world at large by ensuring enabling solutions rather than providing just answers.
We therefore say again that leadership positions are not the preserve of the old only but a shared responsibility by both young and old. Hence, we are at YWB will affirm that, we come to the decision table as partners for sustainable development not violent opposition. We understand that we have to create our own opportunities to better our own development and that’s what YWB stands for; unleashing youth potentials.
We therefore urge our colleagues’ youth all over the world to encourage courageous conversations while maintaining our level of respect and integrity. In furtherance, We believe that youth should drive the agenda of change that we seek, else nothing changes. We are the change agents for there’s no other time than now. The future is now.
