Miss Selina Salamatu Abdulah (B.Ed, Ghana) Southern Zonal Coordinator:
She is a caring and enthusiastic teacher, with a strong commitment to youth development and empowerment. She grew up in Accra and worked for many NGOs, performing local research and consultancies. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education from the University of Education, Winneba where she served as a teaching assistant. Selina has worked in many initiatives such as GMSA Ghana in sharing knowledge and youth development. She is currently working as a science teacher and a moderator at Hazelway International School located at Kasoa, Ghana.
Mr. Armstrong Ephraim Awinbugri (MBA, Ghana; BSc., Ghana; DBS and Dip , Ghana, ACCA) IE-YEC Project Coordinator:Ephraim is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds Master in Business Administration, Accounting Option from the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi after successfully graduating from same University with BSc Administration, Accounting option with a first class in 2013. He also has Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting as well as Diploma in Education. Ephraim has plethora industry experience as Audit Assistant (PKF), Accountant ( Locaf industries Ltd), Finance and Adm. Director ( Darkofresh) and now a lecturer in Presbyterian University College of Ghana. He is also the Senior Editor of National Student’s Allianz (NSA Ghana), and I Empower Coordinator, Youth Without Borders Ghana.
Mr. Ali Shaibu (MBA Ghana; BSc, Ghana, CIB(Ongoing)) Greater Accra Regional Coordinator: Mr. Ali Shaibu graduated from the Islamic University college of Ghana, where he had his first Degree in Banking and Finance, He then further his Education at University of Education, winneba, where he had his Master’s Degree in Finance. He is currently pursuing his professional course with Chartered Institutes of Bankers (C I B). Mr. Ali Shaibu was involved in a number of diverse industries including Banking, Academia, Customer Service and Information Technology. He was the Director of Finance at Global Baseline Co. Ltd, Vice President of Zongo Youth Foundation and Greater Accra Regional Coordinator of Youth Without Borders Ghana
Mr Doe Addo Nyantor (MPhil (Ongoing, Kumasi; BSc, Tamale; Dip, Ghana) Brong Ahafo Regional Coordinator: Doe teaches at Nkoranza Senior High Technical School in the Brong Ahafo Region and also a Housemaster. He first graduated from Univeristy for Development Studies with Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agricultural Technology and Diploma in Education from University of Education, Winneba . He is currently pursuing Master of Philosophy (MPhil.) degree in Biotechnology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. Doe has established Science & Maths Quiz club, Young Debaters club and Cadet Corps in his school in order to undercover the potentials in teaming youth. He is peer counselor and mentorship expert.
Samuel Gariba (B.A., Kumasi) Ashanti Regional Coordinator: Samuel is a social worker, youth and community development activist, trainer, researcher and novelist. He has passion for service to humanity. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He served as Teaching and Research Assistant at Department of History and Political Studies KNUST. He is currently the Project Officer of Centre for the Development of People (CEDEP), a local NGO of international repute based in Kumasi. He trains citizens and local government staff on transparency, accountability and public financial management. He advocates for the rights of vulnerable groups like women, children and people with disability. As a social scientist, his interest is to maintain a profession of advocacy, community service, especially dealing with the youth and the less-privileged to ensure that they are empowered to live a responsible life.
